Maintaining safe roads, streets, sidewalks, public drainage, and more throughout the City of Steinbach

Spring road weight restrictions are in effect each year from approximately mid-March to the beginning of June. Weight restrictions are on all streets in order to avoid damage during the spring thaw period.

The Public Works Department is responsible for the maintenance and repair of paved and gravel streets, and backlanes within the City of Steinbach.  

Requests for street repairs and maintenance or concerns about specific maintenance projects should be forwarded to the Public Works Department.
