After snowfalls, the Public Works Department is responsible for removing snow from approximately 130km of roadways and 56km of pathways in Steinbach.
Residents also play an important role in snow clearing efforts and are required to keep parked vehicles off of all city streets during and after a snowfall event, until such time that streets can be cleared.
