Course and Lesson Registration

*NEW Online Registration System*

The City of Steinbach is pleased to announce the launch of a new and improved online registration system for all city recreation programs. The new system is now live and available for everyone to use (please note that the old system is no longer available). We encourage you to take a few minutes to create an account which will be your gateway to registering for all city recreation programs, including fall swimming lessons. Please ensure your new account is set up well in advance of registration dates.

What to do Before Registration Day

  1. Create your account. If you have not already done so, please create an online account. This account will be used for all future registrations and purchases. Create your own account first and then add your family members to your account.
  2. Know what levels you need:
You can look this information up on the last Progress Card that your child received.
Call Customer Service at 204-346-6207. We will be happy to look this up for you and answer any questions you may have.
  3. Review the list of available classes and have a few options chosen in the event your first choice is already full.
  4. Have your payment or credit card (Visa or Mastercard) information available so that it can be easily entered during the registration process.

Recreation Funding Information

The Steinbach Aquatic Centre accepts funding from KidSport and Jumpstart.

To assist with your funding approval and subsequent registration in Aquatic Programs we ask that you do the following:

  1. Apply for funding well in advance of when you will need it. It can take up to 3 months to get approval. (ie. If you are planning to register for lessons in the spring, you should apply for funding in January.)
  2. Once you have received confirmation that you have received funding, please forward that confirmation to: jhansen@steinbach.ca

We will then credit your account with the amount of the funding so that you can use this to register your kids in our programs during our online registration. If we don’t get confirmation of funding, you will be required to pay for the full amount of your registration.

Please call 204-346-6520 if you have questions regarding funding.
