Starting this Saturday, May 3, residents can bring their yard and garden waste to one of three Community Compost Depots, open every Saturday, 9am to 3pm until October 11, 2025.

Kick off the return of the compost depots with a sweet treat!

On Saturday, May 10, be one of the first 100 people to drop off a bag at any of the three depots and receive a coupon for free ice cream!
Compost Dos and Don’ts
What to compost:
- Vegetables & fruit (fresh, cooked, canned)
- Coffee grounds / Filters
- Tea leaves / bags
- Egg shells
- Bread
- Plain rice / Plain pasta
- Garden waste
- Weeds without seeds
- Grass clippings
- Leaves
Do not compost:
- Meat / Fish / Bones
- Eggs / Dairy Products
- Oily foods / Sauces
- Pet waste
