On Tuesday, September 30, the City of Steinbach is recognizing the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation as a day of observance regarding the impacts of residential schools.
Please note the following City hours over the next few days:
- Saturday, September 27 to Monday, September 29, City facilities and services will be available as regularly scheduled.
- On Tuesday, September 30, all City administration buildings and most services will be closed. The Aquatic Centre will be open for public swims from 1-3pm and 4-6pm.
- All City departments will resume regular business hours starting Wednesday, October 1*; garbage and recycling collection will resume on Wednesday with Day 1.
*Starting October 1, the landfill will be open according to their winter hours: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm and Saturday, 9am-4pm.
Please note that the 2025 Property Taxes are due Monday, September 29. View payment information.
