Community Compost Depots
Starting on Saturday, May 9, residents can bring their yard and garden waste to one of three Community Compost Depots, open every Saturday, 9am to 3pm until October 17, 2026.

Compost Dos and Don’ts
What to compost:
- Vegetables & fruit (fresh, cooked, canned)
- Coffee grounds / Filters
- Tea leaves / bags
- Egg shells
- Bread
- Plain rice / Plain pasta
- Garden waste
- Weeds without seeds
- Grass clippings
- Leaves
Do not compost:
- Meat / Fish / Bones
- Eggs / Dairy Products
- Oily foods / Sauces
- Pet waste
- Diseased plants
- Metals
- Synthetic materials
- Plastic / Petroleum products
