Public notice is hereby given pursuant to subsection 162(2) of The Municipal Act that the Council of the City of Steinbach will present its 2026 Financial Plan and will hold a public hearing in the City of Steinbach Council Chambers, 225 Reimer Avenue, Steinbach, on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at 7:35 p.m.
The 2026 Financial Plan presentation agenda will include the review of the City’s 2026 and 2027 operating budgets, the 2026 capital program, and the long-term capital expenditure program.
Council will hear any person who wishes to make a representation, ask questions, or register an objection to the financial plan. Copies of the City’s 2026 Financial Plan will be available for review at City Hall after March 4, 2026, during regular office hours.
