2026 Labour Day Weekend Hours

With Labour Day around the corner, please take note of the following hours for City services and facilities this weekend:

Over the long weekend, the Steinbach Aquatic Centre will be open as scheduled.
On Saturday, September 5, the Compost Depots and the Steinbach Landfill will be open as regularly scheduled.
On Monday, September 7, most City services and facilities, except the Steinbach Aquatic Centre, will be paused or closed.
All City departments, except the Steinbach Aquatic Centre*, will resume regular business hours starting Tuesday, September 8; garbage & recycling collection will resume on Tuesday with Day 4.

*From September 8-20, the Steinbach Aquatic Centre will be closed for our annual maintenance shutdown.
