The City of Steinbach would like to inform residents that traffic on Provincial Trunk Highway (PTH) 12 will be directed to use the northbound and southbound curb lanes between 53 PTH 12 and south of Main Street, beginning the morning of Monday, November 3rd and until further notice, to allow contractors to complete work within the median.
Northbound and left-turning PTH 12 traffic approaching Main Street will be directed to the curb lane or left turning lane.
Loewen Boulevard will remain closed from PTH 12 to east of Home Street.
Business approaches on the east side of PTH 12 will be reopened. Temporary parking will be available at 5 PTH 12 to access 193 Loewen Boulevard for Alltemp Auto Electric.
The City thanks all drivers and residents for exercising caution and following signage when travelling in the area, and for their patience as work on the Loewen/PTH 12 Intersection renewal project continues.
