The City of Steinbach’s Parks and Recreation Department is so thrilled to share that Steinbach's community outdoor rink by the Southeast Event Centre is open for the season as of Friday, December 19 and the outdoor leisure rink by the Jake Epp Library is open for the season as of the evening of Monday, December 22.

Community Outdoor Rink
by Southeast Event Centre

  • Open for the season as of Friday, December 19 at 3pm | Open daily from 8am-10pm
  • **Update** January 13—  Closed due to warm weather; scheduled to re-open at 4pm
     

On-site parking is available, and lights line the rink, set to turn off at 10pm daily. Visit the rink located on the corner of Barkman Avenue and Elmdale Street for both skating and shinny hockey. 
 

Outdoor Leisure Skating Rink

Visit the rink located at 255 Elmdale Street for leisure skating only (no sticks and pucks).
