RELEASE – City of Steinbach Requests Residents to Report Property Damage from September 11-12 Rainstorm

Steinbach, Manitoba — The City of Steinbach is asking residents who experienced property damage as a result of the significant rainstorm on the evening of September 11-12 to complete a damage report form available on the City’s official website: https://www.steinbach.ca/report-september-2025-rainfall

The information collected will help the City assess the extent of the damage within the community and will be shared with the Manitoba Emergency Measures Organization (EMO). This assessment is an important step in determining whether the province will provide Disaster Financial Assistance (DFA) for affected residents.

Residents are asked to submit their information by September 29, 2025. 
Completing the form does not guarantee financial assistance but is necessary for the City to advocate for provincial support.
