The City asks that residents refrain from throwing out batteries with your regular garbage, as doing so not only causes harm to the environment but also causes fires at the Landfill that put our equipment and our employees at risk.
The Solid Waste Department encourages the public to bring household batteries to the Landfill Scale Office or at City Hall.
