After snowfalls, the Public Works Department is responsible for removing snow from approximately 130km of roadways and 56km of pathways in Steinbach.
Residents also play an important role in snow clearing efforts and are required to keep parked vehicles off of all city streets during and after a snowfall event, until such time that streets can be cleared.

- Snow clearing updates are provided to inform residents when operations are underway and as a reminder of parking restrictions outlined in Section 32 of the City Traffic By-Law.
- Expect snow clearing updates to be posted during regular business hours, Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, when possible.
