City to launch new website October 1

This Thursday, October 1, 2026, the City of Steinbach will be launching a new website with a modern look and better functionality to make it easier for residents, businesses, and visitors to find the information they need.

The current City website launched in 2015. Considering current digital design and functionality standards, we are thrilled to take this step forward with a new website solution that reflects our commitment to transparency, accessibility, and user-friendly service.

As one of the City’s main communication tools, the new site is being built with the needs of the community in mind, and it will follow current best practices. It will also feature improved search function, mobile-friendly design, more intuitive navigation, and an option for residents to sign up for City e-notifications.

Whether you are looking for property tax payment information, applying for a permit, or reading Council meeting updates, the City’s new website aims to help you get there faster and more easily.

The new site is expected to go live at 10am on Thursday the 1st. While a smooth transition is expected, we thank the public for their patience in advance should any loading problems arise.
