
Landfill summer hours start on Wednesday, April 1. Hours are Monday to Friday, 7am-8pm and Saturday, 8am-6pm.

The City of Steinbach is pleased to offer recreational opportunities for children this summer. A total of six different summer day camps will be offered over July and August, for children ages 6-12.

Each year the City of Steinbach publishes a report that summarizes how the City's water meets provincial regulations. The 2025 report is now available.

Anyone interested in participating can sign-up by calling 431-815-9223, sign-up at a local church, or simply show up at the arena that day.
Volunteers will be meeting at the T.G Smith Arena in Steinbach for 9:00am and everyone is welcome to participate. From there, volunteers will be dispatched and supplied with maps, routes, and garbage bags. People are encouraged to wear rubber boots, gloves and to dress for the weather.
A thank you lunch will be provided, free of charge, for all volunteers back at the arena at noon.
The city appreciates all of the event organizers and recognizes the support of participating churches who truly are the backbone of this wonderful event.
