The City of Steinbach is pleased to offer recreational opportunities for children this summer. A total of six different summer day camps will be offered over July and August, for children ages 6-12.
The 2023 Spring-Summer Quarterly Newsletter is sent to residents along with their utility bills.
Beginning May 23rd, temporary road closures and construction may impact travel in the following areas.
Spring road weight restrictions for the City of Steinbach will end at 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 23, 2023.
The splash park located at E.A. Friesen Park (beside the Jake Epp Library) is opening for the season on Friday, May 19.

9am at TG Smith Arena
Anyone interested in participating can sign-up by calling 431-815-9224 , sign-up at a local church, or simply show up at the arena that day. Volunteers will be meeting at the T.G Smith Arena in Steinbach and everyone is welcome to participate. From there volunteers will be dispatched and supplied with maps, routes, and garbage bags. People are encouraged to wear rubber boots, gloves and to dress for the weather.
A thank you lunch will be provided, free of charge, for all volunteers back at the arena at noon.
The city appreciates all of the event organizers and recognizes the support of participating churches who truly are the backbone of this wonderful event.
