Volleyball Courts, Dog Water Fountains, and Parks Washrooms Closing for the Season

As colder days approach, the Parks and Recreation Department would like to inform residents of the following seasonal updates:
  • The water fountains at the dog park in L.A. Barkman Kinsmen Park are scheduled to be turned off for the season on October 9.
  • The beach volleyball courts, located at the outdoor rink on the corner of Elmdale St and Barkman Ave, are scheduled to be closed for the season on October 9.
  • The public washrooms located at A.D. Penner Park and the Soccer Park are scheduled to be closed for the season by end of day on October 16.
