The City of Steinbach is pleased to offer safe and active summer activities for children and youth in our community. The City of Steinbach Summer Recreation Camps have been designed to provide safe and creative summer activities to campers.
Our camps have a fun and energetic atmosphere and offer participants a variety of recreational activities that promote movement and fitness. With seven different camp weeks to choose from, you’re sure to find an exciting option for your child. Come join our safe summer fun!

Southeast Event Centre / A.D. Penner Park / E.A. Friesen Splash Park / Steinbach Aquatic Centre / Tennis Courts / Skate Park / BMX Track / other locations throughout Steinbach as scheduled.

Registration begins Monday, March 9, 2026 at 8:00am online on PerfectMind.
If you already have an online account set up for lessons at the Steinbach Aquatic Centre, the same account can be used to register for summer camps.
Refunds:
Please note that if you register for Summer Recreation Camps, the City of Steinbach will not provide a refund if an illness occurs or symptoms of an illness are present. Consideration for a "credit to account" will be reviewed and at time of refund request.
Participants who are registered for camps and withdraw 3 weeks prior to the camp start date will receive a full refund less the Cancellation Fee of $20 (plus GST).
Participants who are registered for camps and withdraw after the 3 week cancellation period will receive a 50% refund, less the Cancellation Fee of $20 (plus GST).

We are SURVIVORS! A full week of intense games, thrilling challenges, and nonstop adventure! Campers will put their survival skills to the test with obstacle courses, puzzles, and nature scavenger hunts. They’ll also work together to find the right clues, solve exciting mysteries, and compete in relay races that push their teamwork and problem-solving skills to the next level.
But the fun doesn’t stop there. Survivor Week also includes soccer, volleyball, yard games, and more— making every day an action-packed experience.

Get ready to bring your A-game! Game On! Sports Camp is the ultimate week of fun, fitness, and friendly competition. Campers will experience a variety of exciting sports, including soccer, basketball, volleyball, flag football, kickball, and more! With high-energy drills, team challenges, and action-packed games, this camp is perfect for young athletes of all skill levels.
Beyond the competition, campers will practice teamwork, sportsmanship, and confidence while making new friends and having a blast.

Up, up, and into action! Everyday Heroes Camp is an exciting week where campers discover what it really means to be a hero in their community. Through obstacle courses, team challenges, and high-energy games, kids will build confidence, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
The highlight of the week? Meeting real-life heroes from Steinbach including firefighters, lifeguards, and other community helpers. Campers will learn about the important roles these heroes play, the skills they use every day, and how they help keep our community safe.
With hands-on activities, interactive demonstrations, and plenty of active fun, campers will see that heroes don’t always wear capes and that anyone can be a hero through courage, kindness, and helping others.

Feel the rush! Get ready for an adrenaline-pumping week of action, adventure, and high-energy sports. At X-Treme Sports Camp, campers will bring their courage, push their limits, and experience a variety of exciting recreational activities.
From BMX track challenges and skateboarding to basketball, football, rugby, and more— every day is packed with thrills! Campers will develop new skills, take on exciting challenges, and discover their next favourite sport, all while making new friends and having a blast.
