The City of Steinbach has an opening for a full-time Maintenance/Operator II position in the Public Works Department.
The successful applicant will operate a variety of equipment, such as street sweeper, rubber tire loader, trucks, and sidewalk plow to perform maintenance of streets and boulevards, traffic control, storm drainage systems, and snow and ice control, as well as perform a variety of labouring activities.
The City offers a 40-hour workweek and benefits package, including a defined benefit pension plan. Conditions of employment include an acceptable Driver’s Abstract and a Criminal Record Check.
